Ylikartano Manor was founded in 1783 when Numminen Manor was divided into Ylikartano and Alikartano. The present main building was built in the Empire style probably in the beginning of the 19th century, and has been enlarged afterwards. The manor has many outbuildings including the cellar and granary which can be seen in the photos.

The history of Yliskyla Manor dates back to the 17th century. The main building was demolished in the 1960s. The only existing building is the outbuilding from the beginning of the 19th century. The manor is located in Laajasalo, and owned by Helsinki city.
