Navalan kartano

 

The main building of Navala Manor was built in 1870, and the park dates from the end of the 19th century. The manor is owned by the town, and used as a kindergarten at present.

Nevaksen kartano

 

Nevas Manor was founded in the 1620s, but the owners are known since 1610. The present main building was built in the beginning of the 19th century in the Empire style. It has been reconstructed and enlarged in the 1830s and 1840s.

Niemen kartano

 

The history of Niemi Manor is known since 1567. The present main building was built in around 1820-1830s. The neoclassical design is supposed to be planned by Carl Engel. The manor built an own railroad for lumbering in 1927-1931, but it has been removed in 1943.

Nissbackan kartano

 

The history of Nissbacka Manor dates back to the 14th century when it was a part of Sottungsby (Ofverby) village, and the owners are known since the 1540s. The main building from 1796 was replaced with new building in 1912-1913. However, the new main building was destroyed by fire in 1935, and only the ruins exist at present. The park from the 18th century has old trees, and the oldest tree is about 500 years old. The building in photos is the granary, and was built in the 1920s. It is used as a gallery at present.

Nordbon kartano

 

Nordbo Manor became independent of Alikartano Manor in 1833. The present main building is supposed to be built in the end of the 18th century. The current appearance which contains Gothic and Empire elements is from the remodeling in around the middle of the 19th century.

Nordsjon kartano (Vuosaaren kartano)

 

The history of Nordsjo Manor dates back to the 17th century. The present main building was built in the beginning of the 19th century, and the current appearance is from the extension in 1897. Nowadays, it is owned by Helsinki city, and used as a kindergarden.

Nuutajarven kartano

 

Nuutajarvi manor was founded in the 1610s and the owners are known since 1606. The former main buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries were destroyed by fire and due to the war. Current main building was built in 1822 in the Empire style. It was restored in 1869, and the architectural appearance was slightly modified. Because of these changes the building has also elements of the architectural style of Neo-Renaissance. The building in the last photo is an old glass factory located in the area.

Nasin kartano

 

The history of Nasi Manor dates back to medieval times, and the owners are known since 1530. The present main building was designed in the Gustavian style, and is believed to be built in around the middle of the 18th century.
