Hietaniemen kappeli ja Vanha kappeli

Hietaniemi Cemetery Chapel was consecrated in 1933. The appearance of the bell-tower suggests the style of Italian bell-towers. The seating capacity is 225. The Old Chapel was built in 1873. The seating capacity is 100. It's the most famous cemetery chapel in Helsinki. The cemetery was opened in the 1860s. Many famous persons are buried there, for example the famous architect Carl Engel, Aurora Karamzin who was the owner of Traskanda Manor, and the Marshal of Finland, C.G. Mannerheim.

Huopalahden kirkko

Huopalahti Church was completed in 1908 as a youth center. It was used as a school during the year 1908-1928. However, it was also used for church services since 1917. It was dedicated as a church after the extension in 1942. The present appearance dates from the extension in 1988, and the seating capacity is 250-350. The belfry was completed in 1932.

Kannelmaen kirkko

Kannelmaki Church was built in 1967-1968. It was designed in the shape of a tent by Martti and Marjatta Jaatinen. The stained glass behind the altar is 28 meters wide.

Kristuskyrkan

Kristuskyrkan was completed in 1928 in the Classicism of the 1920s. It is built of red bricks, and is located on the top of a hill. Kristuskyrkan belongs to the Swedish Methodist Parish.

Kulosaaren kirkko

Kulosaari Church was built in 1935 in a mix of architectural styles emphasizing Functionalism. The seating capacity is 180, and the altarpiece was painted in 1935. The belfry designed by Armas Lingren was built in 1931. The church is located on the highest hill of Kulosaari.

Kapyla Church was built in 1929-1930. It is the only church designed in the architectural style of pure Functionalism in Helsinki. The seating capacity of the church is 420-570.

Mikael Agricolan kirkko

Mikael Agricola Church was built in 1933-1935. It was designed by Lars Sonck in a mix of Art Nouveau and Classicism, and the design also emphasizes Functionalism. The altarpiece was painted in 1935. The spire is 30 meters high, and it is retractable. It has been pulled in during the Second World War to avoid bombings.

Munkkivuoren kirkko

Munkkivuori Church was completed in 1963 with the seating capacity of 600. The organ and the altarpiece are from 1965. The bell-tower was completed in 1963.

Olaus Petri Church was completed in 1932. It is a church for the Swedish immigrants, and owned by the Swedish Olaus Petri congregation. The modest design has some early Renaissance elements.

Oulunkylan vanha kirkko

Oulunkyla Old Church was built in 1905 as a chapel. It was designed in the style of the end of the 19th century, and is oblong in shape. The building was damaged by fire in 1978, and rededicated in 1980. The belfry was completed in 1932. The church is mainly used by the Swedish Parish of Oulunkyla area.

Pyhan Eliaan kirkko ja kappeli

The small chapel dedicated to St. Elijah was built in 1852, and the gateway was built in the 1870s. The Church of St. Elijah was built in the Pskovian-Novgorodian style in the 1950s, and dedicated in 1958.

Suomenlinnan kirkko

The Church of Suomenlinna was built in 1850-1854 as Alexander Nevsky church. Originally, the Orthodox church had five towers with the onion domes. It was transformed to a Lutheran church in 1928, and four of the towers were demolished. The main tower was remodeled in the Gustavian style, and a beacon was placed on the top of it. The fence made of cannons and chains surrounding the church was set in the 1850s. The bell was made in 1885, and it is the biggest bell in Finland. The seating capacity of the church is 400. The church is located in Suomenlinna island.

Toolon kirkko

Toolo Church was built in 1929-1930. It was designed in the Classicism of the 1920s by Hilding Ekelund. The church has a capacity of 500 people. The current organ which has the late Baroque and the early Romanticism elements is from 1981.
