Hvittrask was designed in the National Romantic style by three famous architects Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren and Eliel Saarinen. It was built in 1901-1903 as a cultural home and an architectural office. The building stands on the top of the hill, and is surrounded by an English-style garden. Nowadays, Hvittrask is owned by the State, and serves as a museum and restaurant.
